DCH – International Organization of Human Capital Managers, announces with enthusiasm the launch of the II DCH Global Human Capital Summit, to be held in Bogota, Colombia, on June 6 and 7, 2024.

After the resounding success of its first edition in 2023, this annual event has become the must-attend meeting for HR leaders from the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America. The strategic partnership between DCH and the prestigious Universidad de los Andes reflects the joint commitment to professional development and excellence in talent management.

The II DCH Global Human Capital Summit’s main purpose is to create a space for training and reflection for human resources executives and seeks to provide fertile ground for grounding talent management trends through initiatives and instruments that enrich human capital strategies. The event is positioned as a key forum to address the central issues of the future of work and its effective integration into the reality of companies.

Hybrid Format and Participants

This innovative summit will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both face-to-face and virtual participation. This ensures the inclusion of DCH members, Human Capital Managers and their teams in all countries where the organization is present.

  • Gala Dinner and Awards: On the evening of June 5, at the distinguished Gun Club in Bogota, an exclusive gala dinner will be held. This event aims to bring together the most prominent leaders in Human Resources in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America, where professionals in the sector will be honored for their personal contribution.
  • Global Board of Directors Meeting: On June 6, at the Universidad de los Andes, the Global Board of Directors will meet in a hybrid format. This meeting will bring together the members of the Boards of Directors of all the countries where DCH is present, including Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. The purpose is to design the future of the organization, analyze the challenges and explore opportunities facing human capital leaders around the world.
  • Main event: II DCH Global Summit on Human Capital

Thematic Blocks: During the event, three key thematic blocks in trend in the area of human resources will be addressed: Future of Work, Diversity in companies and Data, Technology and AI in Talent Management. Round tables and presentations will be held with the participation of professionals and human capital leaders who are experts in these areas.

In this very special event, framed in the tenth anniversary of DCH, the DCH OIJ International Center for Youth Talent Development will present the Ranking of Companies Committed to Youth 2024. This program, which is celebrating its third edition, aims to recognize and highlight the best practices of companies and private sector entities that prioritize intergenerational objectives and propose solutions to support young people in their transition to working life and in building their autonomy.

We will explore the crucial topic of corporate purpose, which represents an evolution in the concepts of a company’s mission and vision. We will address the implementation of corporate purpose in organizations and its impact on improving corporate sustainability, presenting the results of the second edition of the Ibero-American Barometer on the implementation of Corporate Purpose, developed in collaboration with the University of Navarra, IESE Business School, CEOE and DCH.

There will also be a presentation of the DCH Women’s Leadership White Paper, highlighting best practices and women’s leadership in the field of human resources.

The Universidad de los Andes will open its doors to welcome attendees starting at 9:00 am.
