Quinton has been awarded the Sports & Healthy Company certification (EHCA)

The company has been recognised for implementing a comprehensive strategy aimed at promoting physical wellbeing, psychosocial health and participation in sport amongst its staff.

Madrid, 14 July 2026. Quinton Laboratories has been awarded the Sports & Healthy Company Certification (EHCA), an international accreditation promoted by DCH – the International Organisation of Human Capital Managers – and ACES Europe, which recognises organisations that incorporate health, wellbeing and physical activity as strategic pillars of their corporate culture.

The certification recognises companies that develop policies and programmes aimed at improving the quality of life of their staff, promoting healthy habits, participation in sport and psychosocial wellbeing as key factors in increasing commitment, productivity and organisational sustainability.

QUINTON

A TRIBUTE TO COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE

Quinton BioTech Labs is a biotechnology laboratory specialising in marine therapy which, for almost three decades, has been developing an organisational culture based on the belief that people’s wellbeing is key to the organisation’s sustainable growth.

With an international presence and a team of more than 75 professionals, the company has for many years been promoting the ‘Wellbeing Laboratory’ programme, a proprietary model that incorporates more than 90 initiatives designed to promote physical and emotional health, work-life balance, professional development, diversity and quality of life for employees and their families.

This approach, underpinned by the values of trust, transparency, commitment and well-being, has established Quinton as one of the most recognised organisations in Spain for its best practices in people management.

A CERTIFICATION THAT DRIVES CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

The Sports & Healthy Company Certification not only recognises the initiatives already implemented by the organisation, but also promotes a process of continuous improvement over a three-year period. During this time, the company shares the progress of its wellbeing project and receives recommendations from the Expert Committee to further strengthen its strategy.

The certification process assesses three key areas: physical health, sport and psychosocial health.

EMPLOYER BRANDING AND COMPETITIVENESS

More and more organisations are recognising that employee wellbeing is a strategic factor in attracting and retaining talent, strengthening corporate culture and improving business performance. Achieving this certification reflects Quinton’s commitment to a people-centred management model that is aligned with the current challenges of the labour market.
