DCH held this morning this year’s first work breakfast organised by the Comisión de Conciliación, Compensación y Beneficios (Conciliation Commission, Compensation and Benefits), in the premises our partner Willis Towers Watson.

Such commission was driven by Willis Towers Watson and Up Spain, DCH partners.

Employee Experience

The breakfast was opened by Fernanda Armanda, Senior Manager at Talent&Rewards in Willis Towers Watson, who explained and asked the rest of the participants what they understood by Employee Experience (EX) and pointed out four key aspects people look for at work: sense of purpose, connections between leaders, making a great job in a successful organization and individual growth and reward.

She also pointed out the companies with better training in Employee Experience (EX) get the best results, also that human resources departments have more and more interest in measuring the employee experience, and that the benefits that has investing on the employee experience are numerous. Besides, she emphasised the importance of digitalising the whole process.

Jorge Estefanía, Senior Manager at Willis Towers Watson Iberia, pointed out the importance of Compensation in the companies and Javier González Gugel, Head of Business Development in the same company, spoke about the importance of social caution plans for three reasons: because they are part of the employee value and attracts, motivates and retains; because current careers and the uncertainty in the Social Security need planning and reinforcing the RSC culture. He pointed out as well the importance of segmenting different audiences.

 

Conciliation Commission, Compensation and Benefits

Among the invited companies in the event were Atresmedia, Wizink Bank, Pharma Mar, Sanitas, Red Bull and Heymo Ingeniería which communicated their different models in the compensation and benefits systems and everyone agreed in the importance of communication to give their employees information about their remuneration. Paula Isart, HR Compensation at Wizink Bank said that “thanks to a new tool implemented last year, now many people know what they are really earning”. Sonia Martínez, Sales Director at UP Spain, understands that Employee Experience is a great experience regarding the job post and the company.
