Barcelona, July 3 – Yesterday took place at IESE Business School in Barcelona the great annual meeting of DCH – International Organization of Human Capital Managers Barcelona on Trends in Talent: Data & Tech and Talent Management, in which took place the launch of the DCH Barcelona Center of Excellence in Talent Management. The event, which was characterized by active participation and a highly collaborative environment, offered an enriching day full of inspiration, knowledge and first-class networking opportunities. As host of the meeting, Xavier Masats Roca, Director of Executive Education, Open Programs Barcelona at IESE Business School, welcomed the attendees together with Josep Senar, Delegate of DCH in Catalonia. The event included the presentation of the second edition of the DCH Barometer on the Implementation of Corporate Purpose in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America. This analysis revealed the degree to which companies have formulated and activated their corporate purpose, and how this impacts on ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) aspects, thus promoting corporate sustainability. Data & Tech in Human Resources
The first block of the day focused on Data & Tech in Human Resources. To start, Ricardo García Lema, HCM Principal Solution Engineer at Oracle, gave a presentation on “The Potential of Data Unification”. This session continued with a dynamic and innovative panel discussion that explored the impact of technology and data on HR. Panelists included: Gerard Esparducer, Head of the Spain Hub at Allianz Technology, Enric Vinaixa, Global HR Platform at Sony, Carla Martínez, Global Head of People Analytics at Telefónica, and Fernando André Romero, Director of Governance and HR Projects at AGBAR .

Launch of the DCH Barcelona Center of Excellence for Talent Management
The official launch of the DCH Barcelona Center of Excellence for Talent Management was the highlight of the event. This new center seeks to lead and transform talent management in the region, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of Human Resources. The inauguration was attended by Yolanda Menal, Global Director of People at Cellnex Telecom and Member of the Board of Directors of DCH and President of the DCH Barcelona Center of Excellence for Talent Management and Gemma Ramirez Mirada, Managing Partner of Ackermann International, expert partner in the center. The president of the DCH Barcelona Center of Excellence, Yolanda Menal, commented: “We are very excited about the launch of the Center of Excellence for Talent Management in Barcelona, which we hope will be a space for knowledge, reflection and collaboration, designed by and for HR professionals. Here, curiosity, generosity and proactivity will be our core values. Are you in?” Afterwards, Alonso Cienfuegos Heredia, Director of ACKERMANN INTERNATIONAL, gave an introduction to the next session which consisted of a Talent Management Dialogue where HR leaders explored the latest trends and challenges in this field. Participating in this activity were: Yolanda Menal, Global Director of People at Cellnex Telecom and David Insalaco, Deputy General Manager and Director of Organization and Resources for Corporate Services at Banc Sabadell.
