Reinventa-Tech is a social program of Oracle Spain whose objective is to help reinvent the career paths of unemployed women by providing them with specialized training in Oracle technologies and facilitating their transition to the technological labor market. The initiative, which seeks to contribute to inclusion, social transformation and gender equality in the Spanish technology sector, is based on a comprehensive partnership between Oracle and a select group of collaborating companies. Most notably, Reinventa-Tech is not limited to those with previous experience in the technology field, but welcomes women with no previous knowledge in this field, thus expanding access to job opportunities in a sector where the gender gap is notable. Through a rigorous selection process and a training program tailored to current market demands, the program ensures that participants acquire key competencies to excel in high-demand technology roles. In turn, the collaboration with leading technology companies guarantees real employment opportunities after completing the training, demonstrating the commitment of the program and its partners to the professional success of women. The program has stood out for its evolution and the success of its first edition has led to the expansion of its second edition. The growing demand for female candidates and the interest of collaborating companies reflect the relevance and effectiveness of Reinventa-Tech in addressing the needs of the technology labor market and promoting gender diversity in the industry. In the first edition, the program helped 20 women from different parts of Spain to reinvent themselves and, in the second edition launched in 2023, 45 women joined the program after receiving more than 200 applications, of which 34 have already finished their training process. The requested requirements for participation are that women have university studies, previous work experience, knowledge of English, problem-solving skills and, above all, a strong desire to reinvent themselves professionally. In addition, the flexibility offered in the choice of technological specializations provides participants with a wide range of options to adapt their training to their interests and skills, thus maximizing their chances of success in the labor market. In its II Edition, the program has had eight training branches:
- Specialist in Cloud technologies
- Java Developer
- Database and Cloud Services Administrator
- ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Technology Consultant
- EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Technology Consultant
- HCM (Human Capital Management) Technology Consultant
- Warehouse and Supply Management Technology Specialist
- Logistics and transport management technology specialist
In summary, the uniqueness of the action developed by Reinventa-Tech lies in its comprehensive approach, from the selection of participants to their job placement, its commitment to the inclusion and empowerment of women in the technology sector and its ability to adapt to changing market demands, making it an exemplary model of social and business innovation.

The Reinventa-Tech project stands out for its high degree of innovation and originality in several key dimensions. First, the initiative comprehensively addresses the challenge of female unemployment in Spain by offering an innovative solution that combines cutting-edge IT training with real job placement opportunities in a highly competitive market. This unique combination of training and employment constitutes a pioneering approach that not only seeks to provide technical skills, but also to guarantee tangible results in terms of employability and professional development. In addition, Reinventa-Tech is distinguished by its inclusive nature and its strong commitment to gender diversity. By opening the doors of the technology sector to unemployed women with no previous experience in the field, the project challenges gender stereotypes and promotes equal opportunities in a historically male-dominated sector. This innovative approach not only expands women’s access to the IT labor market, but also contributes to reducing the gender gap in the technology field, thus fostering significant and lasting change in the industry. Strategic collaboration with leading companies in the technology sector, such as CGI, Oracle, Abast, Accenture, NTT Data, Quistor and TCS, adds another level of innovation to the project. By committing to hire at least one of the women who earn their certification through Reinventa-Tech, these companies not only actively support the initiative, but also demonstrate their commitment to gender diversity and their willingness to contribute to the development of female talent in the industry. Its innovative approach, its commitment to gender inclusion and diversity, and its strategic collaboration with leading companies in the sector are clear examples of its ability to generate a positive and lasting impact on society and industry.
Synergies with other people or institutions:
The program, in its effort to promote professional insertion, has managed to bring together a select group of leading companies in the technology sector to form a network of first-class partners and collaborators with a dual purpose. On the one hand, it motivates participants to complete the program as each of these collaborating companies has committed to hire at least one of the participants once they have obtained the necessary certifications; on the other hand, the companies benefit from incorporating highly qualified individuals into their team, while fostering the diversity of talent in the team.
