The executive vice president of Fundación ONCE, Alberto Durán, and the vice president and CEO of Senator Hotels & Resorts, Jose María Rossell, have signed an Inserta agreement that will involve the hiring of fifty people with disabilities in the hotel chain over the next three years.

Durán highlighted the importance of this firm as “it will provide employment for people with disabilities in public-facing positions in which their talent will be made visible”. He added that, in addition, the incorporation of diversity increases the corporate reputation of companies.

According to Rossell, “although SHR has previously collaborated in Andalusia with Fundación ONCE, with this new agreement we will incorporate people with disabilities throughout our chain, which will help us to meet our objective of sustainable development focused on reducing inequalities in the territories”.

Senator Hotels & Resorts will work with Inserta Empleo, the ONCE Foundation’s training and employment agency, to fill new jobs that the company demands, pre-select candidates who best fit the required profile, and provide customized training to enable them to perform the assigned tasks.

This agreement involves the adhesion of Senator Hotels & Resorts to the Inserta Responsable Forum, a networking and social innovation platform that makes it possible to share practices, tools and experiences that favor the effective development of labor insertion policies for talent with disabilities.
