On Wednesday, May 30, DCH – International Organization of Human Capital Managers and HR Talents, held an HR Lunch powered by Betterfly. This event brought together Human Resources Managers at the Hotel Eurostars Madrid Tower with the aim of promoting the exchange of experiences in an environment conducive to debate and reflection.

The central theme of the meeting was the impact of organizational well-being on productivity, as well as the mutual benefits that can arise from fostering job satisfaction.

The session began with warm words of welcome and thanks to the attendees by Juan Carlos Pérez Espinosa, Global President of DCH – International Organization of Human Capital Managers.

Attendees enjoyed a technical presentation given by Carmen Espinilla, C&B Expert and Sales Leader at Betterfly, entitled “Organizational Well-Being: What impact does it have on productivity? Throughout her speech, Carmen offered an enriching analysis of the causes and effects of job satisfaction levels in the company.

Carmen presented the main factors that influence employee satisfaction within their work environment:

  • Access to resources and safe physical conditions.
  • Work-life balance.
  • Compensation and employee benefits.
  • Culture of recognition and reward.

During his participation, he explained the relationship between compensation, benefits, and productivity, detailing the negative results of neglecting the needs of employees. It explored the causes and consequences of absenteeism, high turnover rates and low productivity levels as by-products of a negative organizational climate.

Carmen also shared techniques for assessing the Happiness Index within a company, including measuring factors such as job satisfaction, engagement, work-life balance, labor relations, and employees’ sense of purpose, as well as the influence of the Happiness Index on organizational well-being. A high indicator allows us to identify problems and make proactive adjustments to promote a positive work environment, reducing absenteeism and staff turnover, improving productivity and strengthening the organizational culture.

In conclusion, Carmen summarized that high levels of productivity that promote business success and enhance brand image are closely related to workplace well-being.
