Job Description

  • Role: HR Director
  • Field: Banking and Financial services.

HR Director for a bank providing financial services, payments solutions, consumer credits and personal loans, amongst other services.

The role will be a key contributor to the Spain executive committee and will lead the Spain HR operations for the business, with a strong focus on the delivery of the HR agenda as the business continues to increase in size.

  • Key responsibilities will include:
  1. To lead the organizational development agenda and ensuring the people strategy is a catalyst for the company business challenges.
  2. Execute the talent strategy and operational initiatives.
  3. Advise on employment and labour relation matters, ensuring they are managed and resolved.
  4. Coordinate with global HR headquarters, giving visibility on the local initiatives and challenges.
  5. The role will lead and develop an HR team to ensure the delivery of accurate support, guidance and coaching at the appropriate level to managers and relevant stakeholders within all business areas.

Requisites:

  • We are seeking a hands-on HR professional, able to combine both strategical and operational aspects of the role.
  • Experience of +10 years in complex organizations with a strong focus on delivering business results.
  • Experience leading teams (more than 5 people).
  • A depth of expertise in Spanish employment law is essential as well as experience in labour relations.
  • Fluent Spanish is required. An excellent command of either English or French are a must for this role.
