Yesterday, DCH <\/strong>and HR Talents<\/strong><\/a> held a new edition of the HR Lunch<\/strong>, in collaboration with Wellhub<\/strong>. Under the title “Panorama of Wellbeing in Companies 2025: What Employees Really Want”,<\/em> the event brought together leading human resources managers at the Eurostars Madrid Tower<\/em> 5*<\/em> Hotel.<\/em> The event fostered an enriching exchange of ideas and experiences on how to create work environments that prioritize employee wellbeing.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The session was opened with remarks by Juan Carlos P\u00e9rez Espinosa<\/strong>, DCH Global President, who highlighted the importance of the active participation of the attendees to address current challenges in the area of workplace wellness.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Welfare as a strategic pillar in companies<\/h2>\n

The event featured the intervention of Wellhub Spain<\/strong> Sales Directors<\/em>, Javier Calderero<\/strong> and Xabier Zaratiegui<\/strong>, who offered a deep insight into the impact of wellness programs on the perception that employees have of their companies and the Human Resources department.<\/p>\n

Both speakers emphasized that workplace wellness is not just a trend, but a key factor in retaining talent and attracting the best professionals. “If we want to retain our talent, creating a wellness program tailored to their needs is a non-negotiable for any company,” <\/em>said Zaratiegui.<\/p>\n

They also shared statistics that highlight the importance of this approach:<\/p>\n

  • 88%<\/strong> of employees believe that their company has a responsibility to look after their well-being.<\/li>\n
  • 80%<\/strong> say they would be willing to change companies if their employer did not prioritize well-being.<\/li>\n

    Challenges and Solutions in Workplace Wellness<\/h2>\n

    Among the current challenges, work-related stress<\/strong> was identified as one of the most significant, being the main source of stress for three out of four generations. The impact of emotional well-being<\/strong> on professional performance was also highlighted, showing how problems such as lack of sleep can negatively affect productivity. <\/p>\n

    The speakers discussed possible solutions such as access to psychological therapy<\/strong> and the promotion of physical activity<\/strong>. However, they mentioned that barriers such as high costs and lack of time continue to limit their effective implementation. <\/p>\n

    In response to these challenges, Wellhub experts presented encouraging data about its users: 77%<\/strong> rate their well-being as good or very good, while 74%<\/strong> say their well-being has improved in the last year thanks to the tools offered by the platform.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    The day concluded with a dynamic dialogue among the attendees, who shared their own experiences and visions on how the focus on employee wellbeing is transforming human resources management. The general consensus pointed towards a more human model, closer and adapted to people’s real needs. <\/p>\n

    This meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the participating organizations to lead the transition to companies that put their employees at the center, promoting integral wellbeing as the basis for corporate success.<\/p>\n<\/div>
