The executive vice-president of Fundación ONCE, Alberto Durán, and the president of Fundación Sesé, Ana Sesé, have signed an Inserta agreement to promote the hiring of 15 people with disabilities in the logistics company over the next three years.
After the signing, Durán highlighted the value that people with disabilities bring to the workforce, adding that, for Fundación ONCE, the collaboration with Fundación Sesé is not only important for the change of life they offer to the people they hire, but also for the company’s own activity, which will maximize the visibility of their abilities. “Some of the positions that people with disabilities can occupy are public-facing, which undoubtedly helps to showcase their talent”.
For his part, Sesé said that “our commitment to employability, and particularly that of people with disabilities, is what drives us. We have been doing this for 12 years and we continue to expand our capacity for action through alliances with excellent partners, such as Fundación ONCE, to continue helping more and more people”.
Inserta Empleo, the entity for training and employment of Fundación ONCE, co-financed by the European Union, will collaborate with Sesé and its foundation to fill new jobs that the company demands, pre-select candidates that best fit the required profile, and provide customized training to enable them to perform the assigned tasks.
Thanks to this agreement, Sesé and its foundation will join the Inserta Responsable Forum, a networking and social innovation platform that makes it possible to share practices, tools and experiences that favor the effective development of labor insertion policies for talent with disabilities.
